forest bath
2016 dropped kicked me. I was in a state of emergency at home, our political climate was imploding and women were enraged across the globe. I found solace in walking through the trees, listening to birds and bathing in the twinkling light that fluttered through the leaves. I carried these experiences into the studio, painting meditative reflections of the colors and patterns, layering and removing paint until the moment revealed itself. The process was long and restorative.
